NEVADA CHILDHOOD CANCER FOUNDATION

The MISSION of NCCF is to provide social, educational, financial and psychological support services and programs to families of ALL children diagnosed with life threatening or critical illnesses such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, sickle cell, renal, blood and immunologic diseases and to provide healing arts and wellness programs to adults touched by cancer as well as to chronically ill children and their caregivers.

Established in 1993, Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF) is a local non-profit organization providing over 45 programs and services at no cost to pediatric and adult patients and their families living in Southern Nevada. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for critically ill children, their families, and adults touched by cancer in our community. When a child is diagnosed with cancer or other life-threatening illness…they look to NCCF for support, hope, and courage.

Within 24 hours of receiving a pediatric referral, the NCCF service professionals work in tandem to identify the financial, educational, and psychological needs for each family.

 Life Long Dreams

Life Long Dreams is a local non-profit organization that helps children and young adults with special needs learn to express themselves and their dreams through the Performing, Visual and Media Arts. Our goal is to provide an environment that reflects their capabilities, not their disabilities. Life Long Dreams was established in 2008 as a 501c(3) organization and we have made great strides. In addition to showcasing student talent through live theater productions, our accomplishments include creating the “Rising Stars PTA” for all special needs and IEP students and families in Nevada's Clark County School District. Through our scholarship program, we awarded our first “Life Long Dreams / Donna Nichols Scholarship” to a special needs CCSD high school graduate. We have added Digital Media, Graphic Design and Photography to our curriculum, and we’re not done yet!
